My enameling has taken me in a new direction lately. I've been working with textures and colors and the results are almost 3-D. You can look down through the enamel to the bottom, textured layer and even see the sides of the wire work. The pastel colors seem to float on top of the background layer, making an interesting contemporary piece.
I'm calling my new collection "The Swirl" collection. After the enamels are finished, they are set in swirly, silver settings. You can see the latest of these new pieces at the Princeton Arts Council store; in their lobby showcase.
I've re-done my website to include the last few pieces created:
http://nancytroske.com and placing them in the online store a few at a time.
I hope you'll stop by my website or the Arts Council store, if you are nearby. I'm always available for special requests, so don't hesitate to ask!
